Kallai was a major contributor in Maricopa High School Boy's Basketball team getting the most wins in school history during his 2021-22 season.

Kallai graduated from Rancho Christian in Temecula, CA in 2024. During Kallai's junior year, Rancho was back to back IVY League Champions as well as CIF Southern Section Champions. Kallai scored 1,042 points in his high school career.
